A livello di fatturato, il quadro è decisamente migliore. <span style="font-family: inherit; font-size: calc(16px * var(--body-fontSize, 1)); font-style: var(--body-fontStyle, normal); -webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%;" data-mce-style="font-family: inherit; font-size: calc(16px * var(--body-fontSize, 1)); font-style: var(--body-fontStyle, normal); -webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%;">Le divergenze e gli scostamenti tra settori si attenuano. Ancora una volta è il settore tecnologico quello che si è distinto per la crescita (+13%), seguito dal settore sanitario e da quello dei servizi di comunicazione (+7.5%).Interessante notare il c.d. “fattore sorpresa”, cioè di quanto i dati pubblicati dalle aziende di ciascun settore si sono discostati dal consenso. Tale fattore è stato pari al 7.5% per gli utili e all’1.5% a livello di fatturato. I settori, che hanno maggiormente stupito gli investitori a livello di utili, sono stati il settore delle utility (+13%), il settore dei servizi di comunicazione (+11.6%) ed il settore dei consumi discrezionali (+9.8%). Per il primo trimestre del 2025 gli utili sono visti in crescita del 12.8%, mentre il fatturato è visto in crescita del 5,0%. Il settore energetico continuerà a dare un contributo negativo alla crescita degli utili del mercato, almeno fino alla fine del primo semestre del 2025.Per il terzo trimestre 2025 gli analisti si attendono una forte accelerazione della crescita degli utili per il settore degli industriali (30%) dei materiali di base (32%) e del settore immobiliare (23%). Per il prossimo anno gli utili complessivi sono visti ancora in crescita. Il consenso è per un rialzo limitato dello S&amp;P500, per un indebolimento del dollaro, per un calo marginale dell’inflazione. Altro tema su cui sono tutti d’accordo è la Cina, dove nessuno vede un rimbalzo. Infine, sul fronte taglio dei tassi e andamento del rendimento del Treasury, ci sono visioni piuttosto discordanti. Sebbene i dati abbiano mostrato un rallentamento dell'inflazione su base annua, l’inflazione rimane comunque “appiccicosa”, suggerendo che il ritorno al target del 2,0% della Federal Reserve richiederà più tempo del previsto. In particolare, l'inflazione core è aumentata dello 0,3% per il quarto mese consecutivo, portando l'aumento annuo al 3,3%. Allo stesso tempo, i prezzi dei beni, esclusi cibo ed energia, hanno registrato una crescita significativa dello 0,3%, il livello più alto dal maggio 2023. Questo ritardo deriva dal fatto che l'indice considera una media di tutti i contratti di affitto in essere, invece dei nuovi contratti stipulati nel mese più recente. Di conseguenza, i dati ufficiali tendono a sottostimare i cambiamenti più recenti nei costi abitativi. I dati privati, come quelli forniti da Zillow, mostrano che la disinflazione nel settore degli affitti è probabilmente già terminata, con i prezzi che hanno raggiunto una stabilità laterale negli ultimi mesi. Questo rally appare in parte giustificato dalla stagionalità favorevoledi fine anno e dall'ansia da performance tra i gestori di fondi, che cercano di migliorare i rendimenti annuali. Tuttavia, emerge il dubbio che questo entusiasmo possa essere prematuro. Le valutazioni del settore tecnologico rimangono elevate in termini assoluti, con multipli prezzo/vendite superiori ai livelli osservati durante la bolla delle dot-com. L’applicazione dei dazi commerciali ha l’effetto di rendere più costose le merci importate con impatto negativo sulla marginalità delle aziende o con impatto al rialzo sui prezzi al consumo. L’aumento dei rendimenti nella parte a lunga della curva aumenta i costi dei mutui. I tassi swap, i c.d.
